The national semiconductor competence centre project ChipsC²-LT was presented at the annual scientific conference of the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC). The conference brought together scientists, researchers, and technology specialists from various fields to present the latest scientific achievements and discuss future directions for technological development.
On the first day of the conference, particular attention was devoted to advanced research in the fields of materials science, photonics, laser technologies, and electronics. Within this context, the ChipsC²-LT project was also introduced. The project aims to strengthen Lithuania’s semiconductor ecosystem, foster collaboration between research institutions and industry, and develop competencies in microelectronics and chip technologies.
During the presentation, it was emphasized that ChipsC²-LT seeks to connect the academic community, technology companies, and innovation organizations, creating conditions for more effective knowledge and technology transfer. Such partnerships are essential for ensuring Lithuania’s long-term competitiveness in the rapidly growing field of semiconductor technologies.
