Technical Scope and Capabilities
This service determines response speed of photodetectors and high-voltage switches using 10 ps pulsed excitations at 10 Hz repetition rate and 100 ps temporal resolution.
Excitation wavelengths:
- 263 nm
- 351 nm
- 527 nm
- 1053 nm.
Core Infrastructure / Tools / Equipment
The service uses a 6 GHz oscilloscope for drift and rise time measurements.
Possible Restrictions
- Devices can be unbiased or biased up to 5 kV
- drift or rise times can be measured with up to 100 ps temporal resolution
- sample size up to 10 × 10 cm
- adjustable spatial resolution from 0.05 mm to 1 mm
- samples must be equipped with ohmic contacts.
