It also examines the specifics of digital and analog circuit IC design, chip packages, and packaging processes. Lectures cover design costs and methods for drafting IC specifications. During the laboratory sessions, participants gain practical experience by designing a simple two-stage operational amplifier circuit — from concept through to tape-out.
