Target audience: Students and company employees with no prior experience in designing integrated circuits and their chips using the XSCHEM and KLayout software suites.

Course summary: The course is designed to train individuals with no prior experience in utilizing open-source software for chip design. Starting from elementary circuits, simulation methods, methodologies, and scripting techniques are demonstrated. Instruction is also provided on transitioning to layout design, as well as its preparation and final readiness for manufacturing.
