High-Frequency Circuit Design Using Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS)
Course category: Advanced coursesTarget audience: Company employees with little or no experience working with high-frequency circuits and Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS).Course summary: This course comprises theoretical material, laboratory work, and practical sessions focused on the design of high-frequency electronic devices. The theoretical lectures introduce participants to the design specifics of high-frequency circuit components, while the laboratory and practical sessions develop proficiency in using Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) software. The introduction to schematic design in the ADS environment covers the simulation of various components — including amplifiers, lumped- and distributed-parameter filters, and other microstrip structures — in the time and frequency domains, as well as using specialized tools (harmonic balance, noise analysis, etc.). The course also addresses the specifics of software-based simulation and electromagnetic modeling of high-frequency structures, including the preparation of PCB layer stack-ups.
