The introduction to schematic design in the ADS environment covers the simulation of various components — including amplifiers, lumped- and distributed-parameter filters, and other microstrip structures — in the time and frequency domains, as well as using specialized tools (harmonic balance, noise analysis, etc.). The course also addresses the specifics of software-based simulation and electromagnetic modeling of high-frequency structures, including the preparation of PCB layer stack-ups.
