Science and Technologies 2026&#8221;<\/strong> conference is Lithuania&#8217;s leading annual event for the laser and photonics community, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from the high-tech sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year&#8217;s conference programme reflects the latest global technology trends and invites participants to discuss how Lithuania can strengthen its position within Europe&#8217;s rapidly evolving innovation ecosystem. One of the conference&#8217;s key focus areas is <strong>semiconductor technologies<\/strong>, which have become a strategic priority for European industry, defence, digital transformation, and technological competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will explore how photonic technologies contribute to semiconductor design and manufacturing, the opportunities created by European semiconductor initiatives, and how Lithuania&#8217;s research and business communities can play a more active role in global semiconductor value chains.
